hi peeps. im in a good mood today! i'll blog about everything since sept ONE SHOT! haha.

i think my last post was on 15th Aug. So i think i'll update every single shit since that day.. according to the sequence of pics in my NEW IPHONE 4. hahaha

so that goes the first update. i bought an iphone 4!

Teachers' day gifts from my tuition kid n students. apparently my name is quite difficult to spell to some of them -.-

teachers' day dinner at traders hotel. and i won the lucky draw 11th prize! first time i ever won a lucky draw in my life hahaha!

CIP with my class. cheerleaders n motivators for the yellow ribbon run 2010! it was raining the whole morning. poor kids cheered in poncho! haha

Rayne's 21st bday!

SA Alumni dinner! YOG teachers were invited to the dinner and the food was really good! very yummy abalone soup and alot of other good food! broadway beng was the emcee. and strangely.. FOYCE LE XUAN was there with SAA chairman Mr Woffles Wu. mmm... had a hard time trying to take this pic of foyce. haha my colleague had to pretend she was taking a pic of me but actually she zoooooomed in to take foyce at the table behind. haha!

and after the SAA dinner. it was the beginning of my CORPUS LUTEUM CYST NIGHTMARE! at first thought it was food poisoning. went dr kwan twice cost me $100++++ damn dulan. went back to work when i THOUGHT i recovered. then i went to universal studios despite the pain on dunno which day i forgot! because i didnt want to waste the free tickets! it was damn gooooooooooooooood! bumped into weiyu there. haha!

and then........... i was hospitalised because of the stupid cyst. feel so bad for my students sigh. really bad time to fall sick!

credits to noh for the pics. and thanks again noh for coming to acc me with elmo balloon and ribena! thanks ty for rushing down after work and even when im in A&E and thanks wen for the lovely sms-es from abroad! big sis for accompanying me everyday and ong for staying till late to help me with admission procedures. feel so loved by all of u. =) the pic with me eating is really funny! hahahahahaha.
my 2 days in ttsh was really horrible. on drip all the time and wasnt allowed to eat. really sucks! the nurses were really kind though.. :) i will nv forget this horrible cyst! the last pic was a happy me upon hearing good news frm doctor before being discharged!

and then it was a bday surprise frm noh and ty who brought cake to my house at 12midnight on the day i was discharged from hospital. very touched! =) but i cant seem to find the pic. =( someone upload pls? =(

and hippers had a belated bday celebration for me! with a lovely gift :) v.happy thanks! =D

and i had alot alot of good food after being discharged. hahaha. lost 2kg but i think by today put on dunno how many kgs alr. haha. let the pictures speak. =)

UPDATESS w hippers:)

yeshyesh we finally get to indulge in our long awaited SPICY BAFFALLO wings:)
BUT it wasnt from SUNSET GRILL arghh e first time we went we lost our wayy there n when we finally found e place there was a freaking long queue which hav to wait like 2hr plus to get our food served so we left e place n went hav IVINS.. haha so not fatedd is when we set on 10aug to go which is on tuess n hipper-h was jus laughing abt it might be closed today at my hse n so we checked online indeed they dun open on tues!

n w much much disappointment we cracked our head on where to hav our dinner instead.. hipper-p found another CHIXwings place on hungrygowhere. so we set off to jalankayu JERRYS CAFE. food was good thou e BAFALLO wings can be more spicy.. CAN WE GO SUNSET GRILL SOMEDAY AGAIN HIPPERS??? :)

Redeafination

Was feeling really moody and down on a friday afternoon after work. met ong and talked to him about the same old problems, not our problem, but MY problems. he actually booked a place to have our anni dinner but i was feeling too down to go anywhere and told him to cancel it. didnt really feel like going anywhere that day but he insisted we go out for a walk. in the end we settled for Barossa@esplanade for some very yummy pasta and fish n chips.

after the dinner we heard v.loud music at the open area stage at esplanade and went to join the crowd. it was the first day of Yfest and there were dance performances by diff dance groups. the first one was quite good and i thought one of the lead dancers looked like Rozana, my FACT software RO. haha. true enough i msg-ed her on fb and it was really her. haha. looked like a totally diff person on stage. cool man. sometimes i feel like having a REAL hobby, but i think im too nua. lol.

one performance of the night that really inspired me was the hip hop dance by a group of hearing-impaired. the emcee taught the crowd to welcome them using hand language and not by cheering or clapping. the performance was really damn good. feel so lousy for complaining about life everyday when these ppl are living their lives to the fullest! shall complain less and be contented with life, and do everything i want, live with no regrets, live life to the fullest. :) do check out their website if you're interested. http://redeafination.wordpress.com/blog/

Hi everyone!

it was our 2nd anni ytd. went to work and ong came to pick me home to take a short nap before going out for dinner at dempsey! 2nd time we're there. first time was on his bday we went to ps cafe, the food was not too bad. this time round we went to the wine company, used to be highwood's competitor. had some finger food and wine LOL. abit trying too hard, but well.. good place to chill! den we went to B&J for some very yummy brownie with ice cream... hippers, let's go dempsey tgt on 23rd july k!!! =D

v.happy got my bonus (though it's pro-rated), decided to get something for ong since it was soooooooo long since i bought something proper for him. got the versace perfume gift set from century square bhg after my interview at Future Electronics! the following weekend i saw the same perfume selling at pink beauty for $20+ cheaper!!!!!!! damn dulan. or mayb i should just comfort myself by thinking that mayb the one at pink beauty is diluted! and also i got some ladies perfume freebies from the sale guy. so.. give n take la. i really like the moschino fragrance! really sweet and he gae me 2 mini bottles plus some body lotion! so happy =) this weekend will be bringing dad n mum for korean bbq dinner at taka crystal jade since dad has been craving to try korean bbq.. and there goes all my bonus.. lol but nvm la. they happy can already! =D

speaking of the interview, one fine day, i was randomly sending out my resume for marketing and banking jobs since i cant go to nie this intake. to my surprise, this company Future Electronics called me up for interview! went to check out the job details and realise it's totally not related to what ive studied or worked before. and when i was there for the interview, the HR personnel was my sec sch senior MINGZHU! she got new name called sharon i dunno lor. haha. what a small world, it's like fated or what.. mmm... passed the HR round and will be going for the 2nd interview next week! wish me luck man. i really hope i can get the job but yet i cant bear to leave my students.. still thinking really hard!!!!!!! anw, out of the 4 or 5 jobs ive sent my resume to, only this one replied. i seriously think she wouldnt have called me if she didnt know me personally! but it also feels like something is telling me it's really fated!!!!!!

it's so difficult to choose a CORRECT path. what exactly is the CORRECT path?

ohh is early in e morning 7am now.. woke upp at 530am feeling so hungry n swallowed down a polarr sugar roll :)simplyy nice im surprised! had apple, chunkypeanut bread n currently my second fav fruit- GOLDEN KIWI. omg is god damn nice i can eat up to five aday sucha greedy pigg.

well recently lotas things happened. n makes me think alot too. my heart aches alot for jas. thou she seems strong from e outside when i last seen her.. i know how painful n torturing it hav beenn for her n her family... i couldnt stop my tears tat night whenever i looked at her. life must be very difficult for her n her family right now.. busy coping n adjusting. bbf, i hope to see u accepting n moving on somedayy. im stuck w keep asking u out or leaving u personal space.. i jus wan to let u know ill always be here for u for life. we hav gone thru lots of ups n downs tis 13years.. n i wan u to know we will nv stop supporting each other.. jiayou!

looking at how tough it is for people around me makes me cherish of wat i hav now.. i will nv forget how devastating it was tat i could nearly lost my dad last yr n how harsh life was for us. n thou hes still on recovering stage n alot of stuffs still gg on.. im very very thankful as we hav each other n holding on together. going thru all these, looking at my friends loss, hearing wat my colleague told me abt her fren, seeing a pax tat struggling makes me learn not to take health, happiness n all e little joy in life for granted. jus like even looking up e clear blue sky in e early morning while on my way home makes me feel sudden pleased n contented for a moment as i guess i was enjoying tat smooth bus ride which kept my mind off busy reflecting..

how much we always complain abt feeling angry easily sad over small things well it actu so insignificant n silly.. life is fragile we should learn to cherish of wat we hav n do wats tat make us happy.. .life is so unpredictable n we should treasure each other n appreciate every moment of tat little joy in life tat adds up which makes a beautiful day for us :)

i know every human beings will nv be contented but lets learn to appreciate and not take our simplicity for granted.

hello world!

long time since i last blogged. hippers, do blog often! =D

2 more sleeps to Brisbane! =D feeling very excited! but it's a pity that the trip is gonna be so short! =( really looking forward to the cold cold cold weather, the theme park(s) and Byron Bay! also hope that uncle will have a mini BBQ before we leave.. BBQ-ing in the cold. omg! i cant wait! first time taking emirates. i heard from wen that it's reeeaallly good! looking forward to my flight too ;)

life's been good so far! =) i know i've been ranting and complaining to everyone around me about the smallest things but actually overall, i'm quite satisfied with my life right now. loving my work and workload, loving the working hours and loving the FOOD!!!! malay stall damn good! haha. but of course there r down sides..... but i still can manage! =D really really hope i can squeeze into this year's intake. but rumours around saying that this year's intake for JC programme is full! i really really hope that i wont have to wait for one whole year... =( fingers crossed..

i think im all prepared for my trip! thanks to hipper-x for lending me her winter clothes and the sling bag. haha. treat u big meal next time when i strike it rich! tmr going to amk central to trim eyebrow (so that i'll look good in pics hehe), and to have kfc lunch! also need to get a bday card for uncle mike. went to chinatown the other day to get 2 sets of toddler clothes (cheongsum design) for the two angmoh grandchildren of uncle mike. think they r going to look so cute in chinese clothes! haha

ANYWAY, side track a little.. i just STOMPED this:

hello everybody! it's gonna be a really childish post. but i really cannot help it, and im very affected!!! =( for the very few who reads our blog, pls scold my bf when u see him in person if u love me. dont need to paiseh. or if u agree with him den dont scold him.. =(

story goes like this... below are a few conversations we had..

situation #1
on a random weekend, I was wearing my usual cotton on shorts with some top.. OPP walking behind me.
OPP: eh dude! your thighs are getting way to...... becoming like 大姐..
Me: huh really meh... =(
OPP: no la. but time to start exercising dawg.
Me: ok i try..

situation #2
on a weekday after work. i was wearing some dress, abit tight fitting..
OPP: eh dude, you thighs really look biggers den haze's from the back. you should do something about it. and what's with the tummy...
Me: really meh... =(

situation #3
on a weekday evening, i was chatting with OPP on the phone:
Me: eh dude, i love my job! especially the working hours (as of now.)! i feel much more refreshed to do more work after taking an afternoon nap. =)
OPP: that's how people become fat man.. time to start exercising..
Me: huh.. =( haze make spoil both my running shoes.

on a weekday after work. i took a nap from 4pm to 5pm when i got home. OPP called at 5pm.

Me: WTFFFFFF. STOP CONSTANTLY REMINDING ME THAT I'M FAT!!!! I KNOW I LOOK FATTER THAN BEFORE!!! I NEED TO GET USED TO EVERYTHING FIRST BEFORE STARTING TO PLAN TO EXERCISE RIGHT!!!?????!!!!

wah really super pek cek i tell u all. how he KEEP telling me im fat, my thighs are humongous, my arms are becoming bigger than haze's, i will become big sis's size sooner or later..... I'm not exaggerating, but the no. of time he has 'hinted' me in a very obvious manner is uncountable.

but i really dont know why.. I've permanently lost like 1kg after I fell sick for like almost a month after the bkk trip, then after i started work, i lost another kg so total lost 2kg in like 3months? i really dunno why i'm physically losing weight, but visually looking fatter! (this i must agree with him). definitely nothing's wrong with the digital weighing scale bala bought. i weighed myseld at hj's just last week. really 2kg lesser..

SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY BF WANTS ME TO BECOME AS SKINNY AS HIM!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU CANNOT STAND HOW I'M LOOKING FATTER EACH DAY, AND HOW I LAZE AROUND AND NOT EXERCISE, GO FIND AN NTU MEI MEI WHO IS SPORTY ENOUGH TO EXERCISE 3 TIMES A WEEK AND HAS PERFECT FIGURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

long weekend was spent resting and quite alot of reading up on my econs! haha. watched book of eli with ty, hj and OPP at iluma, went PS with TF on Sat afternoon and met OPP just now for dinner.. the rest of the time, nua-ing and 'doing work'. lol

work's been quite good so far! loving the working hours especially.. hehe. also, im looking forward to the challenges ahead! ;)

planning to go somewhere with OPP during june holidays protected period (last 2 weeks of june holidays) to celebrate our 2nd anni in advance. wanted to go langkawi but it seems like tiger stopped flying there... :( hope to squeeze in another trip with the girls or my family during the very short 2 weeks break. hahaha.

dread waking up so early every morn but time really flies at work! =) the BIGGEST prob i have is my shoes............. really difficult to get a comfy, pro looking and affordable pair of heels!!!

HKG trip w my parents

well dunno y. i always feel more like blogging or writing when im feeling emo n stuff. rather than when im happy oh well.

hmm tonight my mind is working on some stuffs again. i guess i wont elaborate on it well i jus know tat i hav some of my dearest friends who i really trust w me :) n u def know who ure..

leave 24/3-27/3 :) my parents n i went HONGKONG!

we had a fab time over there :)) n im very proud of myself tat i brought them all around exploring jus like wat i hav planned for this trip.

on e first day we actu got lost finding our hotel hahah. went to e wrong mtr station n end up taking cab. it stated mongkok east. n i actu tot is mongkok station n exit from e EAST. no! theres a station tat actu called mongkok east n is really jus 5mins to our hotel.

n upon reaching our hotel... e room tat i booked were fully packed so we got a free upgrade to suites!!! e room is HUGE n my parents so delighted w e hotel! so m i :))

check out e living room! n e curtain is freaking automatic w a button!

the second day we went macau n didnt expect e boat ride can be so exciting haha. cos of e strong wind as e weather got colder... is like a mini las vegas :)

n drama happened. on e way back to hkg.. at e macau ferry terminal i was stopped by tis immigration officer who couldnt recognise me on e new passport! i was still halaing w tis young chap e next sec he asked his supervisor here n brought me to this area where i was asked to wait there while they checked my details. there were three young girls looking bit like pino waiting to get interviewed before they can cross over to hkg. COME ON U TOT IM TRYING TO SMUGGLE INTO HKG???! arghh i was so angry so u think e three girls n i r around e same age therefore one stick knocked down all e boats? HELLO IM A TRUE SINGAPOREAN!

aft they checked my details i asked them so wat exactly gg on.. e supervisor told me is jus some normal procedure. nb u think i nv watch ID JING YING issit..

okayyy. so e third day we went to find tis dimsum place half price before 1030 walked damn far end up at e wrong hotel which e restaurant open at 11am.. >:(

so we went to another place nearby called dai xiang n had super yummy dimsum :)) so not so bad!

little shopping around mongkok n evening we went up the peak! beautiful n soo colddddd :)

n last day we were soo lucky we tried for e first flight n we manage to get up e plane thou e flight was full acc.. i had soo much fun w my parents! n im very happy tat they enjoyed themselves hee can see from their smiley faces!

relief teaching in yzps

went to do relief teaching at my own primary sch (yangzheng pri) last fri and this morn.. teaching is a pri sch is damn fun! the kids are really cute!! i brought the kids to the computer lab.. haha!

(red and green are twins!)

it's fun to teach in a pri sch but the kids are also v difficult to handle.. have to handle kids who cry in class... punish those who are notorious.. be patient with hyper-active kids.. blah blah. but overall it was a really fun and fulfilling experience! hope i get called up again before 22nd march! ;)

it's been a good new year 2010 for me and my family! i'm so happy nowadays. feel very refreshed daily, waking up early to do some work for haze, meeting clients and doing reports.. but i dread FRIDAYS where i have to travel around to take pics.. nonetheless, i feel happy this year!

big sis got the job she's always wanted as a CSR buyer! (yes! it's the interview she went at Giant that day, before we went loyang tua pek gong where we each got a coin from the caishen! WE'RE ALL GONNA HUAT BIG TIME THIS YEAR! HAHAHA.) so cool! it's really a cool and prestigious job! i'm so proud of her =D she's also getting a new flat with bro right opposite my house. she's moving from the block beside mine, to the one opposite mine. LOL. but it's much bigger i heard.. hehe. bala also got a job with quite good pay with DHL =) haze is finally 'waking up', going to office early daily to do productive stuffs (but she's still mj-ing quite often la..). dad and mum also look happier each day seeing us happy daily.. =)

OPP, on the other hand, is not doing that well. got alot of tests and i can feel his stress.. jia you BILL ONG.. hahaha.

and.. i cant wait to start work in march! =D will still be helping haze part time.. cant bear to leave my beloved clients who are all so nice, always giving us alot of freebies, and very nice part-timer aunties/girls.. haha. also lazy to do proper hand over and i dont wanna pay for my office line which i used to sign for my iphone! so i will earn this extra income and also 'help' my sis lighten her workload a little.. hehe.

was reading all the draft posts and it turned out to be more interesting than the other posted posts.. haha.. having this blog is a good thing! i hope it has bonded the hippers more! by sharing all the postings and updates in our life.. hehe..

bbk trip was ok for me (frankly), perhaps because i dun really like shopping.. but the company was great.. haha.. lets have more of this oversea trips in the future!

hmm, abit about my current life.. 2009 was a bad year for me.. hope 2010 will be a better one! cant wait to start on my new job.. really hope there's nothing wrong with my medical report so i can start work on wed.. really really really hope i have found a better company this time with a better prospect..

boat sightseeing was adventurous n quite exciting. thou e driver dropped us halfway n left us there! MBK was okay... i guess good place to get all e ILOVEBKK shirts blah blah... well got most of e HIP stuffs at platinum mall! chatuchak was quite disappointing.. i guess is e weather tat killed it... personally love suan lum night market e most :)

n not to mention our hotel was so comfortable! thou alittle squeezy for four of us in one bed...

drinking koi bubble tea now on a sunday afternoon. dunno why but feeling very happy today ;) had a very enjoyable week(end)! had alot of good food and did quite a few fun things! =D

Enjoyable activity #1: hipper-x's bro's wedding dinner last Sun
Long time since i last 'dressed up' a little for dinner. xianwen looked like a movie star that night, almost outshining the bride. haha. the bride n groom look vvv happy and sweet! but can tell they are quite tired at the end of the night. lol. congrats to weisen and xiaowei!! =D (think xw will upload pics soon)

Enjoyable activity #2: Dinner at true friend's place
Went serangoon north to meet true friend for char siew rice lunch and walked around the 'pet walk' near her house. the dogs are super cuuuuuuute! really feel like keeping one next time! Went to her place to talk cock n watch dvd tgt, den she asked me to stay for dinner, and ty joined us after work. Hong Shun cooked v tasty korean bbq pork. we ate it the conventional way (i think) by wrapping the bbq pork in some veg, xiang cai, after dipping the pork in some sauce. korean miso soup, kimchi soup, all the small side dishes and most imptly, the 'korean choya' (i dont know what isit called) with real gold flakes inside. lol. very nice of her mum la really. will bring more goodies to her place next time. teeheehee.

Enjoyable activity #3: Gathering with the cousins
my cousin who recently got her australian PR came back for grandma's bday and is going back tonight. so we had a small gathering at her place on Fri. They also bought a cake to surprise bala for her bday. so sweet of them. the night was spent talking cock, alot of smoking (for some of them) and ALOT of gambling. I played mahjong while OPP played texas hold'em with the cousins and their friends. my cousins usually gamble quite 'big', so i was damn surprised that my very guai bf gambled with them. soooo happy that night OPP won $500, helped me cover my losses on the mahjong table, i lost about $40 (was winning $100+ at first lor!! den got distracted at the end,
=( .too tired). my another cousin won $1300 in just one night. two of my cousin's friends lost $900 each. really damn scary. i think i will nv dare to play poker with them. i was damn worried for him while i was playing mj outside la. but luckily he nv lose.. teeheehee.

Enjoyable activity #4: Teppanyaki Dinner with OPP
had jap teppanyaki dinner with opp last night at suntec after work. very worth the money and tasty! will bring dad and mum there this fri. my dad loves teppanyaki!

Enjoyable activity #5: Shopping at Carrefour with OPP
after dinner, went shopping with opp at carrefour. he said he'll let me take anything i wanted and fill up the whole trolley to share his winnings with me. hehe. but i didnt fill up the WHOLE trolley la. only took afew snacks. hehe. love shopping at carrefour!

Enjoyable activity #6: Chit-chatting with the CHONG sisters after their visit to Master Chen master chen said it's a good year for bala and big sis. haze n i nv see him, mayb next year. mum seeing next week. bala should be able to find a job soon, and it's gonna be a fruitful year for her with alot of changes. big sis is entering her TEN YEARS OF LUCKY DAYS in 2010. very HUAT man! and should have a baby this year or next. yeah!! hopefully he is accurate!! =D mummy said he said 人的命是会改的, so i dont have to worry so much about what he told me last year. hopefully things will change for the better! so happy that everything is predicted to be so nice for my family this year. =D

really hope that all my sisters will be happy happy, and my parents will be healthy healthy, and most imptly everybody will HUAT BIG TIME in 2010. lol lol.

2009 is not a good year for me.
well... i guess more bad than good. lots of majors have happened tat affect my life significantly.
n w a smile on my face n tears in my heart, i brave through the storm.

Hate being a woman. Menses cramp's really bad this month. =(

cant rmb when i stopped updating. A few 'happening' events over the past few weeks. =) last weekend was the most eventful of all. =D

more significant events which i can rmb are:

1) stay-over session at true friend's place. ANG SOON cooked very delicious korean food for us. =D so paiseh.. drama happened also. DRAMA FOLLOWS HEEJUNG!

2) steamboat session with true friend, jm n his friends. not much drama tho.

3) brought over hipper-c's surprise bday cake at 12am with hipper-w. the most happening part is not the cake. kanna $50 summon for parking at double yellow line. the stupid carpark at her house had not even a single parking lot left that night. appealed to HDB but it was unsuccessful because the carpark is supposed to be reserved ENTIRELY for season parking holders after 10.30pm every night. =( stupid retarded rule. that means everyone who stays at the area cannot have any friends who visit them at night, or stay over at their place. stupid stupid stupid. very angry that they dont even give me a chance. it's my first offece ever since i passed driving... =( $50 bucks lehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh =((((((((((((((

4) hipper-c's un-hip actual bday dinner at the zhi char stall with only me n true friend. sorry i'm a useless friend.. =(

5) true friend came to my office to acc me the entire day. hahaha. fun day.

6) last fri evening had ramen with big sis, bala n ong peh peh at central mall. very tasty =D

7) sat night went for musical broadway beng at esplanade, with big sis bro n bala. sponsored by big sis. =D first time watching a show at esplanade. hehe. it was quite good!!!

8) JB trip ytd with hipper-x, hipper-c and truefriend for hipper-c's belated bday pics. it was fun! especially the last taxi ride home.. hahaha. food was damn good too. hipper-c/x will update more on the entire trip.. so sad hipper-w couldnt come with us. hope she's enjoying herself in china now =)

alright i shall start from day tat went to dye hair w bim n lee :))) but my hair colour issnt obvious la!! good thing is i dun hav to spray for work

eh tat day i went town w bim n we met SHE at ion!!

n guess what i did kul turn e next day n SHE came on board!! oh i was so lucky to work jcl haha. n i was quite shocked to see them. esp when my colleague told me this short hair one is some star which i didnt notice at first cos i saw e side view of ella.. yea she came in first. woohoo.. they look jus like on tv la hmm so petite. i asked them for photo but e manager declined eh gave me three autographed photos thou :) okay not so bad. n ELLA ROCKS!!!!

i very nice okay... i gave one to my super excited colleague which she didnt get to work jcl n one to my laopo jas haha.. n keep one for memory sake!

n yesh went to find laopo jas after my kul w bbf jas! to support her!!! we had mac for dinner cos we wanna play e super IN thing now MAC MONOPOLY :)) we had lots fun taking photos n trying to post as SHE hahah. all e best laopo for ur exams <3

n celebrated shan bday after my calledup kix which i alr half dead on my way home.. fell asleep on 74 can u believe it is only two stops almost missed my stop. lucky someone pressed e bell if not sian i have to walk back. still rem during my poly days i always fell asleep on bus after trg or sch haha knocking my head onto window having to walk back cos i missed my stop n sat all e way to interchange till e driver parked his bus! oh so drain..

Shall blog abt my bday before i forget.. haha..

had a surprise dinner (organised by hipper-c) the weekend before my bday at Manhattan Fish Mkt with hipper-c, hipper-x, true friend and OPP. OPP had a hard time trying to make it as surprising as possible, tried damn hard to tell lies the entire day. lol. true friend's sms to pretend to ask me out for dinner was also quite good, added to the 'surprise-element'. haha. and when i thought i was 'forced' by OPP to eat manhattan (which is what he likes) for dinner.......... TADAH! my 3 best friends were at the restaurant! to surprise me. so sweet.. haha. after dinner, the attitude waiter and his colleagues came to sing bday song (so embarrassing) with a surprise cake, which had 2 big n 3 small candles. WTH. ADD ONE MORE EXTRA. 22 alr old enough la.. hipper-x bought polaroid and we took some pics..

Was really happy that day. just a simple dinner with friends made me a happy bday girl. =)

and on the actual day i took half day leave, but finished work around 3plus. =( Drove to OPP place to park my car den took his car out. save petrol.. HEHE. went shopping before dinner. i dont even have time to shop nowadays. so busy working daily. =( after work too tired to go anywhere. weekends just nua at home, no energy to go anywhere. i need a life! should start having more activities during weekends! so on bday bought $120 worth of bodyshop products. wanted to buy some clothes and shoes but nothing suitable. bought tea leaves for my future mother-in-law (she bought mooncake for my parents and told me NOT to buy back, so thought for a loooong time what to buy and decided to buy tea leaves -.-). dinner at Angus was good! tasty food, nice ambience. but OPP pocket got one hole. lol.

After dinner, had to go home early to rest as there was event (=work!)the next day. was abit disappointed cuz OPP told me there's no present for me. =( den i was quite upset. thought that he's really damn boxim, not even a card. he knows i like bday cards!!! den i keep kaobei him for at least a bday card n showed a black face all the way until we reached the carpark. i slammed the door and sit in the car. then he dragged me out n keep asking me to go to the boot. and....

TADAH! surprise present with a very very very nice card. i like the card MUCH MUCH more than the present. self-made card by OPP. i like the gift also la.. meaningful.. HEHEHE.

1. At a Carnival, there were 260 more boys than girls. 3/5 of the boys and 1/4 of the girls left the carnival. In the end, there were 50 more girls than boys. How many more boys were there at the carnival in the end? (5marks)

2. A fruit seller had 360 oranges and pears at first. 60% of the oranges and 20% of the pears were sold. There were 152 oranges and pears sold. How many pears were not sold? (5marks)

3. At 1.30pm, a van left Town A for Town B and travelled at a constant speed. 1 hour later, a car left Town A for Town B and overtook the van at 5.30pm. The Speed of the car was 32km/h faster than that of the van.
(a) What was the speed of the van?
(b) What was the distance between Town A and town B if the car was 14km away from Town B at 5.30pm?

happy teachers' day to all teachers in the world!!!!!!!!!! especially to my teacher-to-be or teacher-friends! bff weekiat, yikying, dfb theng, ms tan......... and myself! (although i only teach in a tuition centre.. -.- lol lol lol

very happy today when i went for tuition. i didnt even realise it's teachers' day! when i walked into the room my two student gave me hand-made cards and hp accessories. so sweet of them. =D really nv expected this.

she drew the spongebob n patrick really well. lol.
suddenly got the urge to go apply for teaching again! mayb only TODAY... lol.

it's the latest man u jersey. just launched few days ago! got this as a belated gift for our anni, cuz i wanted to wait for the latest one to be out instead of buying him the old season one.

it's monday tmr. really super sian. =( weekend was great! had manhattan fish market, afew meals at ong's place (his mum's cooking is damn good!), supper with pri sch friends at chomp on sat night, and dinner at home just now(my mum's cooking is also damn good!). the meeting with pri sch friends was quite fun. many graduated (all talked about work and blah blah), some gonna graduate soon, two are teachers, some in ns. i feel so glad that we still keep in touch after so many years. =) i told my teacher-friends about my experiences at the tuition centre (i teach in a tuition centre near my place), and they said i sound like i really like teaching! mayb i really like teaching.. mmm.. mayb i'll go into teaching someday.. hehe.

we went to watch Ice Age 3 (3D). the 3D effect's nto too bad. but wearing the 3D glasses for the entire show was a little uncomfortable. and we bought the Ice Age cup! =D the movie was not as good as i expected... but, still worth watching =)

we caught transformers on tues also. damn good!!!!!! this time i didnt fall asleep. we super love shaw pop corn (with extra extra butter pls!) and the nachos are also much better den other cinemas. we bought the medium sized pop corn (which is alr damn big) and nachos, and the person queueing behind us gave us the 'wah' look. and during the movie, this man beside me snored twice. i think he must be damn tired after work. still watch movie. so nice and he can fall asleep!! damn weird man. he also coughed a few times, and, i admit i tried to stop breathing for few seconds when he coughed. LOLLLL. what's wrong dude!!!!!!!!!

Our NUS intern (Indian Scholar) always puts on a mask when he is on train or in lift. Being typical Singaporean, we were all a little embarrassed to take the same train as him. haha. and eugene was damn funny..

and i saw an auntie taking out a piece of tissue to use it and press the lift button. what's wrong with everyone!!!

and fire drill that day. damn retarded. all stopped working for 1hour. but obviously many ppl didnt come down.

that's about it. nothing much to update. OPP sprained his leg. he cant walk! we went to central to see the sinseh but he's damn weird. he didnt even ask what happened or anything. he just let ong soak his foot in some medicated water, den twisted his ankle 'crack crack' twice, bandaged and say ok alr. freaking $37 bucks. tmd. his attitude damn bad. i'm thinking isit all chinese medical sinseh all have attitude prob. hopefully he'll be fine soon. =(

we had dinner at city hall shokudo. wanted to take pics of the yummilicious food we had, but we were all too hungry and impatient at that time. lol. so we just chiong-ed the food straight away, didnt take any pics at the restaurant.

goodbye francis

On the 13th of June 2009, my colleague, Francis (one of the only 5 chinese in my office) passed away. [some of u may know him as sergeant leong's son look-alike.] this morning was his funeral. It was a shocking news to everyone in the office.

although i have only known him for around a month, i could feel that he's a responsible man, nice colleague and loving father.

almost everyone in the office went to the wake on mon. he left behind two sons and his wife. his sons each gave a speech about their beloved father, about how helpless they felt when they watched their dad struggle for oxygen, and about how they feel they have taken their wonderful dad for granted. it was so heartbreaking. francis just bought his son a new handphone and a laptop before he suddenly fainted when they came home from the shopping mall. because his death was a really sudden one, it was even more difficult for his family to believe that he's gone for good. hope that his family will be strong..

life is so precious. it's always when u lose someone then you see his/her importance. i urge everyone to love your family, your friends, and be nice to people around you.

francis was always 'bullied' by the other staffs from what i understand. one of them even quarrelled with him on fri, and francis told her 'i will tell u why on monday'. she cried when she heard the news of his death on mon. i think she's gonna feel guilty for life.

so, be nice to everyone! (i know it's tough, but try!)

receiving alot of sad news recently. yingying's dad died of cancer, bobby's grandma passed away, eugene's grandma unconcious in hospital and doctor said the expected lifespan is around a week, and now, francis' death. feel very sad for all these people. =(

life is precious! i must love my family, my friends, and everyone around me!

lastly, francis will always be remembered as a nice colleague, diligent worker, loving father, nice husband, and a good friend to have. as he's a christian, i believe he's already with god in heaven!

$2 air ticket

I booked $2 air tickets to KL!!!!! ($2 for 2 ways) it's really $2!! insane air fare special from tiger airways. lol. my colleague came to my desk to tell me about it. so we didnt even think so much and straight away booked 6 tickets for three of us and our partners. since it's only $2! hahaha. but there was a credit card charge of $10 each. so total each person paid $12. but it's still worth it! even cheaper than taking cab to town n back home. pay $12 to go n see KL airport n come back also shiok. hahaha.

this insane air fare special was also available for many other countries (macau, haikou, bangkok, penang..........) but everyone's so fast, we were only left with KL and afew other lousy places by the time we found out about the offer. lol. sound so auntie but WHO CARES! HAHAHA.

already 3weeks at work. everything's good and i'm given more 'exciting' tasks to do. like.... creating a wiki page for my company. -.- still trying to figure out how to do it. so if anyone has done it before, please help me!!!

going to play paintball next weekend with colleagues and partners!! [but ong doesnt want to go! =( ]

my final exam results were out ytd. did reasonably OKAY la. MIRACLE HAPPENED! hehe. so happy that i managed to pull up my GPA and achieved what i wanted--degree with merit!! =D can throw hat already! hahaha.

i'm not doing honours because my current grades will only get me a third class honours and i dont see a point in wasting one more yr to get a third class honours (can be 2nd lower if miracle happens). i might as well get 1yr of work experience!!

after 2weeks of work, still trying to get used to the amount of stress i face. learned ALOT of things after just two weeks of work, and also realised alot of things i havent when i was a student. the corporate world is...... complicated. there are certain LIFESKILLS that cannot be learned in schools. now i know why ppl say your first job is impt! and work's piling up! seriously need alot alot of emotional support. suddenly feel so lousy and incompetent. i'm still coping with trying to juggle work and personal life. i didnt know that i'm so weak as a person! =( ............but i believe i can do it and i have to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

feel very bad that i always throw temper at ong peh peh over the smallest things. but he always tolerates. i'm sorry =( i'm still learning to cope with everything. give me time ok? =(

looking forward to my first PAY DAY!!!!! and also, looking forward to convocation!! =D

anyway, does anyone have any idea where i can get dummies guide book to accounting/accounting softwares? went times ytd but dont have!

it's been three days at work! but it feels like 3months!

i'm so happy at work today. i dont know why! haha. it's just some minor stuffs but i'm so happy today! =D

tmr i'm gonna have yummy bak kut teh at balestier for dinner (despite swine-y) and my ong is fetching me after work! (like, finally, he can drive again) =D the GPS thing is damn cool. ok i know i'm damn suaku, first time saw the GPS thing. it has a camera at the back of the car for parking (very good for lousy parkers like me) and it will 'talk' to u and give u directions as well. no more street directory flipping! hahaha. next time MY car also must have it! hahaha.

three more papers to go. -3 level 1000 papers. but that doesnt mean i can slack. i still have to mug REAL HARD.

i'm really graduating soon! look forward to it, but also dont feel ready for it. suddenly feel abit emo. suddenly feel that i have changed SO much. almost every aspect of my life, have changed! my mindset, my attitude, my character(maybe?), my wardrobe, my shoe rack, my book shelf, my bed and even my LOOKS (i think)... so... it is ultimately MY LIFE that has changed. i'm so different from who i was when i just entered uni, when i was 18/19. i dont know if it's a good or bad thing. dont ask me.

will uni life really change a person or was it just a phase of life that everyone has to go through?

OMG. FRI WAS MY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL IN NUS!!!!!! (of course i still have to go back for exams and convocation) OMG, SO FAST! it has been 3 years!

what i'll miss:

1) school steamboat! it's so nice, so spicy and so cheap. $5 only and alot of liao

2) ppl i met in nus! =) friends i've met, as well as those weird but really funny ppl

3) some really nice lecturers!

4) the school, of course

5) my free days

6) student life

7) rushing for term papers

8) bidding of modules at the start of each sem. lol

9) learning interesting stuffs

3 yrs just went by in a flash! and the sad thing is, after being an nus student for 3 yrs, i have not met any of the deans yet! lol. i think i will meet them (or him?) for the first n last time during convocation. speaking of that, i went to try the graduation robe on the last day of sch with eileen, since lecture ended early. so excited about convocation!! and we went to try the PHD and master's robe for fun as we thought we wouldnt have any chance to wear them in our lifetime. lol. [but who knows, mayb few yrs down the road i might bump into eileen and she tell me she become Dr Po alr.. lol]

everyone has been asking me, 'hey, how do u feel.. graduating alr right...'of course i feel excited for NOW, i cant wait to graduate, to get my scroll during convocation, and to start working to earn some big bucks! but i'm sure i will start to miss my nus life after working for sometime. =( so people who r still studying, enjoy every moment in school! be enthu, if not u'll regret like me. i seriously regret not going for any camps/orientation and MY BIGGEST REGRET is to give up my chance for student exchange program to seoul national university. [because at that time i thought i shouldnt waste my parents' money.. in fact now i also think so la.. but just feel v.wasted =(] well.. nvm, next time when i earn big bucks then go there n tour la. =)

I LOST MY VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!! really lost my voice COMPLETELY. i cant even talk at all. i had to write out my questions to the nurses at the clinic just now.

finally decided to see the doctor after being sick since good friday. cost me freaking $58!!! dr kwan is really killing all the patients in serangoon with his super ex charges. should have went to clinic in sch ytd since i'm graduating and it'll probably be the first n last time i visit sch clinic. i thought i'd be ok after 'self-medicating' but NO! =(

mayb i only have myself to blame. i thought i was 'ok' alr so i went to have nyonya dinner with xianwen, ty, jasmine and heejung last night for xianwen's bday. but nvm la. we had fun! =) hope hipper-x enjoyed the dinner. =) here r some pictures of the peranakan food. wisdom no more

extracted two of my wisdom tooth (two more to go!) last sat. i thought something was wrong with me, because i didnt really feel any pain for the next two days after the extraction. mayb it was because of the super strong medicine that i took. the medication made me feel like i tio poison after eating them and fall into deep sleep, with heart thumping super fast and would feel damn weak. and the headache started to attack me on thurs......... until today, feeling much better alr.

i have decided to reject teaching offer and join FACT software international! (yes, the company we interviewed for the project in the video in the previous post) have been thinking alot alot alot about what is it that i really want in life (mayb that was the cause for the terrible headache and not the wisdom tooth extraction!). i seriously think i was having pre-graduation-depression. especially after receiving the letter from MOE, i kept thinking, IS THIS REALLY WHAT I WANT? to teach in a JC? to sign the bond of FOUR YEARS and to teach for the rest of my life? i wasnt sure of what i want, in fact, until now i dont even know what i want! so i decided i should not make any decision on impulse and decide the path of the next 4yrs of my life NOW. mayb i will try to join teaching again someday. when i have finished seeing the world outside!! teaching, i feel, is a retirement job. only when we have seen and learned MORE in life, den we can teach the young right? now, i still have a student mindset, how to teach? but mayb some ppl are really really passionate about teaching den they shd start young!

ok about how i SUDDENLY got another job offer. had dinner with the CEO and other grp mates on wed to thank him for helping us with the project. and i found out they are looking for someone to do marketing, and they found out that i was graduating this semester. i thought they were just asking 'for fun' whether i'm interested to join them. but on thurs they called me up for an interview with the marketing staff, Ms Rozana! Ms Rozana is really my lucky star. she said i'm just like her last time. from cjc, nus econs major, she went into teaching for 1 yr before she joined FACT! i will be working closely with her. i really look forward to it! =D so i passed the 1st round and had 2nd interview with the CEO on fri, and i got the job!! i really felt like i was dreaming! just a dinner and i found a rare opportunity! =D haha. so happy, and so lucky! really feel very lucky to be able to get a job so quick in this down period........ i hope everyone else who is graduating will find a job soon too! =D i know i shouldnt be so happy YET because they job might be SHIT, but it seems really challenging! i'm really happy to be given this opportunity and chance to prove my worth! I PROMISE TO WORK HARD! =D

so now, i feel so much more relaxed. i can concentrate on my final exams and chiong for my degree with merit without having to worry about not getting a job after graduation. feel so happy and blessed =) my life's finally on track... for now! thank you ong peh peh for being there for me during my 'pre-graduation-depression'-period! although he is very busy preparing for his exams now, he nv fails to listen to me grumble and grumble about the same old trivial stuffs! =D

first time i did HOSTING, for a management project. although had alot of 'arguements' with the grp members, but i'm so happy with the final video that we came up with!! no longer ANGRY!! haha. this is just the intro, it's a 10min long video, file too big.. haha so i just upload the intro.

i look so stiff and i didnt know i HAVE BEEN SPEAKING so weirdly ALL THE WHILE with my braces, until i watched this video. i know i spoke really weirdly.. but i tried my best ok! i'm so happy with the final video, all the HARD WORK PAID OFF! =D

havent been blogging because i have been busy, and nothing much happening happened. =.=

i dont know if getting letter of offer NOW is a good news or bad news. it's a little too early to decide. well. i have another few weeks to decide whether to accept the offer. so, i have to THINK CAREFULLY.

relief teaching, as always, is fun! and i really enjoy interacting with sec sch kids. they are so cute, and they laugh at the littlest things. =) but i think real teaching would be tough.

got back my 2 development econs essays, got A- and A! =D but i heard the lecturer and tutors are lenient, so there should be alot of A+ and As around... so mine's not that good afterall. =( scored above average for 2 other modules mid term. =) this sem's quite ok for me.. i hope.. another mid term this fri and loads and loads of project datelines coming!!!!!!!!

ong peh peh will be staying in sch everyday (except weekends) until after exams. so we'll only be meeting during the weekends. =(

hello everyone! jia xiang jia xiang jia xiang, MIAN MIAN MIAN!

we went to try it after being 'FORCED' to listen to the tv commercial several times because the commercial just keeps appearing on tv(the publicity is really good) and it tasted like............................................ wanton mee. i shall not comment further. everybody, PLEASE TRY IT. PLEASE. it cost us freaking $10bucks (plus gst, drinks) each for that bowl of jia xiang (wanton) mian!

vday was spent at ong's house bbq-ing with his parents. quite fun la overall. we went to the WET MARKET together to get fresh seafood in the morn (it was fun!) and bbq-ed at night. it's a loooong story, very lazy to type. the whole summary was... we were supposed to bbq alone(2 of us) but his parents were at home so i asked if they wanna join. but we ended up cooking for neighbours, brothers... and i had to 'behave' myself. =( i really didnt mind to have the bbq with them, but just felt abit..... dont know how to say. didnt expect it to be like this. was abit upset and was attacked by the post v-day monster after the actual day when everyone started asking what did u do on vday blah blah. so we had a post vday celebration at crystal jade korean! very nice! must try!! =D he got me a watch, a card n 9roses (which are wrapped really uglyly, he got conned). i got him a polo raulph t(below, it looks abit beng, but suits him haha) from batam (it's original!) which costs............. dont tell u! haha

and on vday eve, in business school, lt16 2pm, eileen n i was in lect. and at around 2.30pm............

this girl (who was late for lect) walked into the LT with two vday balloons. she chose to sit right in the middle of the LT instead of at the back or side. she walked into the middle, blocking the view of many ppl behind her, and TIED THE BALLOONS TO HER CHAIR. WANNA SHOW OFF OR WHAT. bth. mayb i was just jealous that i dont have. lol. but i really dont want la, lame shit. that pink one costs $9.50 (it was sold right outside the LT) it was really very distracting. although i wasnt sitting behind her, i was just very distracted by her and her balloons. the girls behind her eventually changed seats. lol. there were also other ppl who had balloons but they sat at the back or side. this girl seriously......... i dont know what to say. the whole business sch was so in 'vday' mood with girls carrying flowers/balloons around. and that was the pre vday monster attacking me, which eventually led to the post v-monster attack. =(

but the post vday celebration was great! love u darling!!!!!!!!! =D

TMD...VERY ANGRY..my neighbour go complain about my house making too much noises, walao, other ppl stay downstairs 10 odd years nv complain, once they move in, the complain starts coming in.. they are a couple , i think indian man and a chinese woman, just got married not long, they got a pet dog i think, no children. no wonder they dun understand that these noises are supposed to be like that. i think they got hyper sensitive ears and cant stand even the minimal noise. i think they wore ear plug when they drive or take public transports since they cant even stand such tiny noises.

ok this is what they wrote:

1) Every night, there is a lot of funiture being dragged around your house. Example is chairs. In the master bedroom also. Even at 2am. [ hmm, 2am everyone's asleep, i think they heard ghosts moving their funitures la. anw u tell me who so boliao, 2am dun wanna sleep go move funiture.]

2) Every morning, there is alot of dragging of funiture too. There is pounding noises from the kitchen and pots and pans that are being washed from the kitchen produce a lot of noise. The noise starts at 7am every morning. [ now, it becomes a sin to do washing at home, 7am of cos ppl preparing breakfast for work ma, cannot be more understanding meh? ]

3) When you close the living room windows, alot of roller noise is heard. Esp at night. Perhaps you can put some lubricant or oil on the rollers. [ im so sorry for that, our house are showing signs of aging and perhaps i could ask them to give us money to fix the problem lor. ]

4) When you close the master door and master gate, please stop banging it so hard. [ so from now on, we cant even open our house door. and BLOOD HELL, its MY door, complain so much for what ]

5) When you wash your clothes, please dont let the water drip on our windows. [ TMD, my mom already purposely at night then hang clothes so wont drip on their clothes, now drip on their windows also not happy, dun install windows la! and SIAO, then ppl hang outside FOR WHATTTTTT ]

6) Every morning, someone drags their feet around the entire house wearing house slippers. We can hear this noise daily. [ this is madness, my house only kitchen then we wear slippers in case slippery, and, upstairs ppl also made this noise we also nv complain ]

Hope you can understand that the floor is very thin. [they underline that sentence. ] Every noise you make, we can hear. [ i guess this is part of the HBD problem cos i also hear people walking steps from upstairs , if you guys cant stand these noises, i suggest you move to a condo or bungalow or semi-detach.. ]

Hmm, very very angry. Though i must admit sometimes these noises did came from my house, but we dun do it on purpose. We hope our neighbour could be understanding, we dun made this noises on DAILY basis (refer to point 1 n 2 - anw who got strength everyday move funiture). today, hipper p and i went to a very HIP carnival at serangoon central after dinner. got some unknown singer performing jacky cheung song, then got bouncing castle and many other booths for children to participate in games...blah blah...i think because serangoon is part of the marine parade constituency and Mr Goh Chok Tong was the MP in charge, so thats why they can hold such event..

hello everyone! i know i'm a little late, it's already the 4th day of cny! anyway, happy niu year!! hehe..

cny was a little boring for me. most of our relatives went back to batam, so we only went a few places. all i did over the cny period was eat, eat, and eat! nvm la, once a year only.

and i won about $100!!!! =D $50 frm a card game called 'si labi' to translate literally, it is read in eng as dead poker. lol. and $50 on mahjong. HEHE. HOPEFULLY MORE TO COME! =D

2nd day of cny had open house. true friend n ty came to bai nian and had dinner tgt. late at night the chong/teo family of gamblers began gambling whole night. lol. we r such 'lan du' ppl tt my cousin actually switched on the xbox, set 2 countries to play on it's own (com1 vs com2), and he be bookie and took bets. lol. damn funny. one whole group of ppl looking at the com playing winning eleven (soccer game).

that's about it. going to bai nian to ong's parents this sat and have steamboat with his friends at night!!!

hmm i know im kind of lag but well can count as happy chinese new year!! hehe.

oh well to recall 2008. quite alot things happened. good n bad. eh theres some not so pleasant stuff at e end of e year. in terms of health luck etc. anyway overall is still okay la. leaving all e bad things behind. moving forward.. here comes a brand new year.. w all e good luck w me :) HUAT AH 2009!!

okay anyway im so excited.. enjoying e coming cny.. maybe cos my family more of chinese kind. so we always decorate our house buy alot food n stuff. so to me is like so many things to prepare for this festival. so busy so happy. erm thou im not e busy one who preparing haha is my parents. but i also got involve la. n i jus did my cleaning today!! my room is soooo fresh n clean :) oh so proud but my clothes still in a mess.

sunday i went chinatown w my parents. wah so crowded haha i was e one who suggested to go. eh we didnt get alot of stuff. cos most stuff alr bought. but i bought some goodies haha. oh den we head to this hawker centre to have e super yummy fishhead. my god is so nice. tat stall is very famous even hang tv there to advertise. cos e chef got on some cooking show before. n theres few stalls selling that as well. of cos we chose e most popular one. hehe waited quite awhile but worth it. must go again!

oh well but cny eve im not around :( got work.. shanghai. only be back on first day night. hate to think abt it but no choice. new year eve is my fav. well but still. at least im back to enjoy day 2. hmm must be positive.

it's been 6months since me n my wonder bf got together.. so fast man......

happy 6 months annniversary, darling!

i know it sounds and seems 'sec-sch' but we went to get our couple rings. lol. my sweet wonder bf said he is still a student and cant afford a real diamond ring YET. lol. cant wait for the 60th month to come! =D

he is in hall now and i'm at home. just finished shopping-ing with hipper-c at china town and town. went to look for her at SGH after my lect (yes, it's the first day of sch for my last sem in nus. sigh.) to collect her health reports. thank god she's fine! =) but still waiting for another report to be out this wed. hopefully everything will be fine for her... =)

had an early celebration at waraku (i'm damn suaku, 1st time i was there!) on sat. the food was not bad and not too ex also. haha. nice place. we ordered alot alot of food until there were not enough space on the table! or mayb it was cause of my super big bowl ramen. lol. caught red cliff2 (nice!) after dinner with his friends. while waiting for the movie to start at marina, we tried to catch some soft toys, but we r both too noob and decided to not waste any more money, so went back empty handed. =(

feeling very lost also. going to graduate in 5months time but still no idea what i should do. plus the recession is making things worse. seriously considering to join NIE and teach, but definitely wont want to teach for the rest of my life. no!!!!!! like what true friend said, i will start as MISS chong, den MRS 'ong', den MDM chong. NOOOOOOOOOOO.

i also feel very ignorant. like i dont know what's going on in the world. i dont know what caused the iraq war. i dont know why did lehhman bro go bankrupt. results r out alr. i did did 'ok' for all the econs modules but did badly for Jap3. got C+ for jap. sigh. i shd wake up my idea n stop wasting time n effort on languages. although i overall did better than last sem (or the past few sems), my cap didnt increase (neither did it drop la). sigh, seems like i cant graduate with merit. sigh. IF IF IF i get at least B+ for all my modules next sem, den mayb i can get merit, but it's quite impossible. lol. well, ong say got merit n no merit not much diff also.hopefully employers dont care also.. sigh, see how la.

my batam cousin, ah you's wedding was quite fun! ong went to be his brother in the morn n he said the sisters at the bride's side were too lousy. they only answered 3 qns and sang 2 songs den they opened the door for them alr......................... here r some pictures of the ROM ceremony at sentosa and the wedding dinner at grand copthorne hotel. =) still havent receive the other pics from the groom!

it's amazing how much weight one can put on in such a short period of time. i look so fat and un-groomed now that i dont feel like taking pics, which is why i have no new pics to upload. =( i was looking at my facebook pics, my face was still sharp and dont look that fat. now i look at myself in the mirror, i look FAT! FATTER DEN HAZE! i think i 'GREW' like 2inches around my waist, 1inch around my neck, 1inch around my flabby arms and THREE inches around my THUNDER THIGHS! omg. i should stop laughing at ppl who put on weight recently and reflect on my own unhealthy lifestyle. =( start exercising!

holidays JUST started like 11 days ago and it's also like ending soon. havent been doing much since the beginning of holidays. rotting n rotting n rotting either at ong's house, or at home. sigh. only went out for steamboat with true friend n hipper-c which ended with a huge drama, had hipper-x n eunice over to my place and we played 4 player xbox (fun!), bowling with cousins and the chong sisters, had kfc dinner with ong n his 2 joker friends, caught bolt with ong last night (it's OKAY la, but not as good as what i expected) and........................ NOTHING ELSE! omg. damn no life. =( dec holidays r always so short and in one more sem's time.... I'LL BE OUT THERE FACING THE REAL WORLD. shit.

so many things i wanna do and buy! but i decided to enjoy 'last' holidays and not work, which means, no income. i dont even know if the genting/tioman/batam/cruise trip is still on. ong's school will start one week earlier den mine, which means we only have like 2 more weeks to rot together.

anw, i TRIED working and worked as a juice promoter for 2days but really cannot tahan the shit so i quit, and tmr might be going to haze's office to do some admin work for 3days at $6/hr. sigh, damn cheap labour. ong wants to tag along and provide FREE LABOUR. omg.

heard about the bad ppl hipper-x met. really very mean. i also met some bad ppl during my 2days of work at giant vivo city. what do they get out of doing all these? ALL THESE BAD PPL SHOULD BURN IN HELL! i really cannot stand being scolded by a m-auntie who thinks she is damn great. how i hope to make her understand that she is only a small supervisor in a SMALL giant store. mayb i shd just let her be, some ppl just like to put people down to make themselves feel good. and they really think they are damn good and is doing a very important job. but.. sigh. they dont know that they r just so small and insignificant, living in their own small circle and revolving around the same ppl and routines everyday. ke lian.
ok, i may sound abit cocky, but really cannot take it. i know mayb one day when i start working i might have to meet MORE of these kinda ppl, but really buay tahan!! one day i will go back as a customer and give her a hard time!!! yep..that was me, got cut off halfway..

anyway, it has been a very suay week - first i got blamed for something that i didnt do wrong at work and i just ate a rotten apple. hahha

about work, i was reporting the error that i discovered and the engineer thot it was my fault because i was the one reporting the problem and he wrote a bloody complaint letter to his manager..walao, if i never discover the mistake, we would be still running the wrong thing now..then he blames me...then now my supervisor thinks its my fault..walao...suay. i think next time just shut up..then when the problems really surface then they know...

went back to rp for dinner on sunday with my poly friends..this restaurant right inside rp..the place has changed alot and they have this adventure climbing thing going on...what a hip sch! hahaa...

anway, bday this fri...venue is at east coast park chalet unit B06..will start at 7pm,but alot of my friends are coming at 9pm++..so i guess will be starting later...hmm, sorry for choosing such a lousy location..hope all can come...hahha...

damn sick of health econs seriously. i feel like burning up all the notes, soak the ashes into water and drink them up. all these are going to torture me until 5TH DEC!!!!!!!!!!!!

die die die already! every night i tell myself 'ok i sleep early tonight, and i'll wake up early tmr to study' and it's 1pm now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just woke up. die already. really huh, no matter what time i sleep (be it 12am, 2am or even FIVE am) i will still wake up at this time. so... tonight must chiong all the way! i think i can study better at night la.

i really must work harder and at least get a degree WITH MERIT! i went to update my resume on jobstreet and there's an option for highest level of qualification bachelor's degree(pass), bachelor's degree(merit) or bachelor's degree(honours), followed by 1st, 2nd, 3rd class. wahlao. i dont want to get pass. i'm just a little away from merit now. sigh, my result dropped like hell since yr2. my yr1 results were not bad! dont know what was i doing la. so now, i must really CHIONGGGGGGGGG for my final yr. sigh

gonna start reading health econs today all the way until fri. sat start jap and mon would be jap paper alr. =(

oh and ong will finish his exam on thurs. we're going to have jap steamboat cum buffet at mount faber!!!!!!!!!!!! =D with big sis n bro!

exams r coming soooooon! time to start mugging. but i told myself to enjoy this last weekend and start mugging from MONDAY ONWARDS!!!!!!!!!! =(

ok i shall update about the pot issue. she suddenly found the pot! and she msg-ed ong..

she: hey.. i found the pot! =)
he: oh.. so when r u gonna return?
she: i'll be in town today.. =) yup. =) [omg. she expects ong to go collect from her in town? she brought the pot to town? obviously hinting to meet up.]
he: huh. so when u gonna return?
she: u must tell me where first den i can tell u when i'm free. =) yup. =) [keep smiling, smile my ass la. shouldnt she take the initiative and bring back and return instead of asking people to get from her?]
he: i'll be quite busy these few days.. having exams..
she: no reply. [knowing that no chance to meet up alr]

next day.. she called. "hey i meet u at the basement to pass u the pot?" wahlao. why must meet basement, cannot meet at the main door meh. like gui gui sui sui. anyway, at least she zhi dong la, bring back and return. and the pot issue is over now. hahahahha =D

anyway, i'm really putting on alot alot of weight. for those who have not seen me for quite sometime, dont be surprised when u see me. =( my double chin is like coming out.

let me explain why i'm putting on so much weight. an example would be a typical saturday morning and how i spend my saturdays usually. take ytd as an example. we woke up and went for kaya toast and half-boiled egg breakfast at sinmin [very tasty! the bread they use is the special chiam tao kind. lol.]. went back and fell asleep. 1plus pm his mum will wake us up for lunch. we had lunch (fish n chips) and went back to sleep after lunch. after the afternoon nap, woke up for greenbean soup, studied abit and soon, it was dinner time, we had new york new york since we passed by amk hub. and his mother made some kueh for me to bring home for my family and when we reached my place, we ate the kueh and watched guess3. and den played abit of mahjong with my cousin n sister den sleep. OMGGGG. i need to change my lifestyle seriously. after exams, we have decided to exercise every weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

ong's having his exams next week n i'm having mine 3 weeks later. sigh. by the time his exams end den my exams start. sian. hopefully we can go for a mini getaway during our holidays!! like bangkok or hk or at least genting please.

hipper-c's bday is coming!! everyone pls start to feel excited for her. =D

i didnt go to school today!!!!!!!!!! damn slack. couldnt wake up sia. went to dentist and changed the braces colour to PINK! =D already paid 5times alr. another 5times to go and i'm free!!!!!! =D

anyway, just felt like blogging. ong is having his test now and i'm so bored! actually i have alot alot of things to do, but just dont feel like doing any of my work. damn slack. jap oral test this thurs n i havent prepare yet. my partner is damn haolian. he thinks he's damn good and like SCARED i will make him do badly for the oral. wahlao! i must practice real hard n perform better den him!

oh and i want to complain about the pot thing. SHE LOST THE POT LA. wahlao. ppl, tell me pls. how can anyone possibly LOSE A POT??????? after using the pot u will wash and leave it to dry ma. den it will be around the sink area. HOW THE HELL DID SHE LOSE IT??????? wahlao. den she took it as an excuse to want to go ong's place again. she said 'at most if ur mum is very unhappy, i go to your place and say sorry to her personally lor.' disgusting leh really. i just dont like her. ong's mum was quite unhappy and kept asking for her pot. apparently the pot comes in a set or what and she needs it often. then this buay zhi dong LOST IT. wahlao.

100th day

it's me n my wonder bf's 100th day anniversary! hehe.

never really celebrate la. he didnt even know it's the 100th day. i bought him a pair of harvainas slippers and a mini card. =D went to ntu to look for him, attended his lecture, and now we r both back at serangoon MUGGING! =( bumped into weekiat while i was on my way to ntu and talked to him about his life in NIE.

i'm considering whether to get a post grad diploma in education after my degree. according to weekiat, my tuition fees will be paid fully by moe, and i will get a salary of 2kplus every month. but, the bond is freaking 4 years.. mmm.. but if i really get into nie, i can be with my wonder bf everyday!! and i can slowly repay my DEBTS with the stable income. =D and the economy now is SO BAD. i might have problem finding a job after i graduate next year. so, nie might be a good choice... mmm... see how la. still got alot of time to consider anyway. hehe.

back to my books.
